On 10 March, at a gala event, Aures Sp. z o.o. was among the winners of the QUALITY OF THE YEAR 2010 award.

“Last year was a very challenging time for our company in many areas of business. We were solving our day-to-day technical problems, launching new projects, but it was also a time of gaining new experience. The Quality of the Year 2010 award crowns our work during last year,” said Łukasz Korban, the company’s Representative for Quality Management, who received the prize on behalf of the company. 
Aurex Sp. z o.o. is a company based in the city of Sosnowiec, specialising in the manufacture of technologically advanced thermoplastic components for use in the automotive industry. Its products include, above all, aesthetic car interior finish components.

The company’s customer base includes Automotive Lighting, Plastic Components and Modules, Valeo, and Lys Fusion. Aures is certified to the ISO 9001 and ISO/TS 16949 quality standards and is currently in the process of obtaining certification to the ISO 1400 standard.

In 2010, the company signed a contract with the Italy-based Sapa Group to manufacture ready-to-use plastic components for use in the production of the new Lancia Ypsilon to be made by Fiat’s Tychy factory.
