BOS continues to expand its international development activities. At the new BOS Innovation and Technology Center in Katowice, product development, customer quality, simulation, IT and regulatory affairs will be established as a first step.

By the end of the year, 70 new jobs will be created.

Katowice, located in the center of Silesia, is one of the fastest developing cities in Poland, which has a number of highlights to offer and in whose cityscape tradition meets modernity. So is BOS. Founded in 1910, BOS is a privately held international company and is one of the hidden champions in the automotive industry.

In a dynamic industry, BOS has achieved market and technology leadership in various product areas.
About 7,000 employees are actively and dynamically shaping the global automotive future, setting standards in comfort, safety, lightweight construction and energy efficiency. With production plants, sales and development centers in America, Europe and Asia, BOS has a global presence and is represented in the countries where vehicles are developed and manufactured.

BOS core competencies include "first to market" innovations and clever detailed solutions. With component kits and creative, passionate engineering, BOS develops the best product for each vehicle model. Product solutions from "most economic" to "high end" create the highest possible customer benefit and continuously define the state of the art. BOS develops and produces innovative mechatronic, kinematic and plastic systems and is technology leader for luggage covers, sunshade systems as well as electric fuel filler/ charging lids.

This product range and continuity offers BOS employees long-term prospects and good development opportunities and will also be the case at the Katowice site. With young talents and experienced employees, some of whom have many years of international experience in the automotive industry, BOS is dedicated to work on the technologically challenging topics.
A partnership cooperation with the scientific faculties of the universities in Katowice is aspired by BOS and would mean a win-win situation for the region and BOS.

BOS got off to a good start in 2021 thanks to the professional guidance and support of long-time local engineering partner Endego (formerly CADM). Endego's local market expertise and internal resources were key to its success. A further expansion of the BOS Innovation and Technology Center is already planned for 2022
