The Faurecia Group has made the decision to locate a new facility next to the existing factory operated by Faurecia Gorzów Sp. z o.o.

The new location, covering an area of 17,600 sq m in the first stage of the project, will have a 14,500 sq m production hall, offices built on the front of the hall, plus technical rooms.
The construction of the facility will begin in late June and the project is scheduled to be completed and put in use in December 2011.

By the end of 2011, as part of the new project, called Gorzów 2, Faurecia plans to create jobs for 50 managers – these will receive relevant training for the purpose of the new production facility.

The present company, Faurecia Gorzów Sp z o.o., has been operating within the Kostrzyn Słubice Special Economic Zone (KSSSE) since 2003. The company employs 902 people. The Gorzów plant produces dashboards and door panels for automotive manufacturers such as  Audi, Volvo, Opel, Ford, Mercedes (S Class), and Volkswagen.
