On 17 July this year, Opel Manufacturing Poland’s production line assembled its final Cascada. This is the first convertible in the history of the plant in Gliwice.

Cascada, which is based on Astra IV, had been manufactured since February 2013. At first, the car was available on the European market as Opel and Vauxhall brands. Over subsequent years, the convertible from Gliwice entered the North American market (Buick Cascada) as well as Australia and New Zealand (since February 2015, as Holden Cascada).

The final Cascada will be sold to a customer in the United States.

The total production volume amounted to 48.5 thousand cars.
