Fabryka Samochodow Osobowych (FSO), the car factory in Warsaw, has once again stopped production, this time until 17 May.

The last break was two weeks long and ended on 19 April.

The production halts are the result of the crisis in the automotive industry. According to Janusz Woźniak, president of FSO, there are some signs of a recovery in Ukraine, FSO’s main market. However, in 2011, the licence agreement to manufacture Chevrolet Aveo will expire. FSO is talking to GM DAT to renew the agreement.
