Inter Groclin Auto S.A. has announced that it has signed a contract with GM Europe for the supply of car seat covers for GM’s Opel Astra IV.
Under the contract, the company will first produce and supply car seat covers to GM’s Opel plant in Gliwice and later to its UK factory in Ellesmere Port.
Mass production for Opel Astra assembly lines will be launched in the second quarter of 2011.
The contract is expected to last 5 to 7 years. The estimated value of the contract over its entire period is more than EUR 80 million.
