The foundation laying ceremony of Mando Corporation Poland took place on November 3rd, 2011 in Wałbrzych.
The facility, which is situated within the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone, will manufacture, among other things, brake systems, steering columns, traction control systems and shock-absorbers. By the end of 2015 the company plans to invest PLN 390 million and will create 280 jobs.
The company has been hiring over 3.5 thousand people. Outside Korea the concern has factories in China, Malaysia, Turkey, India and the USA. Mando is a supplier of GM, Ford and Daimler.
The project was supported by the Polish Information and Foreign Investment Agency.
