Since 29.12.2009 Kirchhoff Automotive has acted in Poland as one entity of commercial law, namely Kirchhoff Polska.
Kirchhoff Polska Sp. z o.o. and Kirchhoff Polska Assembly Sp. z o.o. acting so far as two separate companies, were merged. The acquiring company was Kirchhoff Polska Sp. z o.o.
As a result of the merger the business activity of Kirchhoff Polska Sp. z o.o. is pursued at the main plant in Mielec and two plants in Gliwice (at 8 Mechaników street and 3 Nobla Street).
- The merger objective was most of all to simplify the organization, to centralize administrative functions and to improve effectiveness within the company activity management – said the Chairman of the Management Board Janusz Soboń.
As of the beginning of 2010 Kirchhoff Polska has employed over 700 persons in the plant in Mielec and over 450 persons in Gliwice divisions.
The supplier manufactures parts and metal components for passenger vehicles of such concerns as: General Motors, Ford, Volkswagen, Suzuki, Skoda, Audi, Porsche, Daimler, BMW, PSA.
