Opel’s plant in Gliwice (GMMP) is gearing up to launch production of two new versions of Astra IV: a three-door version and a saloon version, the daily Puls Biznesu wrote.
Last year, an interministerial team for foreign investment recommended that Opel receive an investment grant of PLN 16 m for this purpose. The whole project at the Gliwice plant is worth around PLN 400m.
“The decision to launch production of new versions of Astra IV in Poland has been confirmed,” Andrzej Korpak, director of General Motors Manufacturing Poland, told Puls Biznesu.
