Part of PKC Group Poland’s wire harness production business will be relocated to a production hall leased from AiB and located in Bugaj street, Starachowice, according to the Solidarity trade union.
The company’s board decided to relocate its production because the production hall leased from the Starachowice branch of MAN Bus is too small for the company’s needs. The changing rooms, bathrooms and cafeteria are longer sufficient in terms of space. Today, PCK employs more than 1230 people.
The production facility in Bugaj street will be used for production of the so-called cabin wire harnesses and will take over about 200 employees engaged in their production.
The trade union notes that the company is taking on mostly those employees who lost their jobs as part of last year’s mass layoffs.
