On 7 Dec. 2011, Sumika Ceramics Poland Sp. z o.o. was given a green light for locating its operations within the area of the Wrocław Subzone of the Wałbrzych Special Economic Zone. The company will produce diesel particulate filters. Sumika Ceramics Poland has committed itself to investing at least PLN 210 million and creating at least 100 jobs. The company plans to complete the project by 31 December 2017 at the latest.
