vw logoIn 2011, Volkswagen’s Poznań-based factory made a record number of 177,001 vehicles. The previous record was set in 2008 (176,479 vehicles).



The 2011 figure is 22.91 percent higher than that for the previous year. More than 98 percent of the vehicles that left the factory last year were supplied to foreign markets. Of all the vehicles made, Caddy accounted for the largest part (89.25 percent) of the factory’s total production.

In the last month of last year, more than 14.5 thousand vehicles rolled off the assembly lines at VW Poznań, which was an increase of 22.68 percent compared to the same period of 2010.
