The Faurecia Group has decided to build its tenth production facility in Poland. It will connected with the Faurecia Interior Systems business. The new plant will manufacture aluminium interior decoration parts. Production will be launched in spring 2013 and begin with components for Mercedes-Benz C-Class.
The construction of the new plant on a greenfield basis began in October 2012 in the area of the Legnica Special Economic Zone, close to another plant operated by the Faurecia Group since 2002
The new facility will have 13,600 sq m of space and employ 570 people (in 2016). In 2013, Faurecia plans to create around 200 jobs.
