On 5 September 2011, Fiat Auto Poland announced two additional collective holiday breaks at the Tychy factory.
The company said in its announcement:
”In response to a reduction in orders from foreign markets, where almost 98 percent of Fiat Auto Poland’s production is supplied, the management of the factory, in consultation with its trade unions, have decided that the two additional collective holidays in September will be 19 and 26 September 2011.
Previously, GMMP announced it would stop production at its Gliwice factory for three days (2, 9 and 16 September).
