Ford is set to suspend production of its Ford Ka at Fiat’s factory in Tychy for two months, the newspaper Dziennik Gazeta Prawna reported.Production will be suspended in September and October. According to the newspaper, Ford’s decision to stop production has to do with problems with a sufficient number of engines compliant with the EURO 5 emissions standard.
From next year, all cars sold in Europe will have to be equipped with such engines.
