FSO, the car maker in Warsaw, is having a hard time. By the end of May, around 15.4 thousand vehicles left the factory, down by 51% compared to a year ago.
The factory has stopped production a few times already. The current production break will last until mid-June. FSO’s management are now in talks with the factory’s trade unions over a cost-cutting exercise, including head-count restructuring.
