In all of 2011, production of vehicles at General Motors Manufacturing Poland (GMMP)’s Gliwice based factory was up by 9.59 percent compared to the previous year. A total of 173.9 thousand vehicles left the Gliwice factory in 2011. In December, however, the factory saw a 10 percent drop in its production. During the last month of 2011, fewer than 10.2 thousand vehicles rolled off the factory’s assembly lines, with Astra GTC’s accounting for the largest part (44 percent) of total production.
