February saw the largest number of vehicles roll off General Motors Manufacturing Poland's (GMMP) plant in Gliwice assembly lines in almost two years.
The factory made nearly 19.3 thousand vehicles. It is the largest number since April 2008 (20.8 thousand). Astra IV’s accounted for more than 90 percent of the factory’s total production. Nearly 17.4 thousand Astra IV’s assembled in Gliwice is the largest number of these cars since the launch of production in 2009.
During the first two months of this year, GMMP assembled 30.2 thousand vehicles, up by 38.9 percent compared to the same period of 2010.
