In March 2012, production at General Motors Manufacturing Poland (GMMP)’s factory was down by 6.3 thousand vehicles, compared to the same month last year.
Almost 11.7 thousand vehicles left the Gliwice plant’s assembly lines, which was a drop by 35 percent against the figure for the same period twelve months ago. Remember though that due to lower demand in its key markets, the factory worked only four days per week in March. The majority of the factory’s March production was Astra IV hatchback’s (6.8 thousand, down by 57.03 percent).
